She sees him, hears him screaming at her.
But it’s like a dream.

He’s still screaming.His hand moves.
She knows he’s going to hit her.

He strikes her.
It hurts.
He hits her again. He hit harder and harder and it hurt worse and worse.
She doesn’t move. She doesn’t cry.

They are all there.
Watching, listening.
They don’t say a word.
