Ann Wigmore, the founder of The Hippocrates Health Institute and pioneer in the wheat grass and raw foods movements was forced to abandon the Hippocrates Health Institute in 1980 after Brian Clement kicked her out with no money and took all the assets. At that time he moved the Hippocrates Health Institute to Florida. Since then, Mr. Clement has been able to use her personal name and the name of the institute she founded to transform a beautiful vision to help humanity into a multi-million dollar business which, in violation of one of her core beliefs, also promotes the heavy use of very profitable nutritional supplements.

According to page 7 of the Hippocrates Heath Institute’s 2011 Tax Return, Mr. Clement and his wife make half a million dollars a year. This does not include available perks such as all expenses paid trips all over the world using the $88,000 the company spent on travel.

This information is revealed in the Hippocrates Health Institutes’s 2011 Federal Non-Profit Tax Return that exempts them from paying Income Tax.

Federal law requires non-profits like the Hippocrates Health Institute make the last 3 returns filed available to the public upon request at their primary place of business. You can also see their tax return at this website: http://www.docdroid.net/ay6f/hippocrates.pdf.html

The sources of this first hand information must be kept anonymous for now. Page 10 of this return reveals that Brian Clement authorized the expenditure of $455,000 in legal fees in 2011. Presumably, either suing people or defending lawsuits. The sources of the information here are ordinary people who can ill afford a well funded legal attack.
