I don’t think Barnes is a terrible player — he just gets by on a lot of reputation and being in the right place at the right time. He’s not shown any signs of improvement and it’s hard to see him ever being in as good of a position to succeed as he was at both GSW and UNC.

Good on him for getting a fat paycheck, and maybe he’ll improve forward, but he’s not a deserving Olympian now and I’m bummed for many others that were more deserving.
