Yes I’m sorry you had those experiences. I didn’t. I had two good birth experiences with minimal to no medical interventions in a birthing center.

I respect your experience and thank you for sharing them; and I hope you can respect mine: for me the births were beautiful not horrible and I am proud my body was able to do that. I was also lucky.

I don’t agree that, “Birth is a monstrous thing.” It wasn’t for me. I understand it was for you, at least in your words, and I respect and contemplate that thoughtfully.
