My Life: A Genuine Reflection of Perfectly Intertwined Thoughts
Do you know what it means to be genuine? The true meaning? And no I’m not referring to something being unique? Everyone is unique, everyone has their quirks. And while the mainstream definition of the word is often synonymous with extraordinary, pure genuineness surrounds us everywhere. It is not something extraordinary. It’s an ordinary characteristic, but your ability to see it is influenced by your understanding of it as well as your willingness to assess and accept your existence.
Genuine: Latin origin
This word coming from a Latin origin was built on genu, meaning knee. It boasts two roots — genuinus and genus, with the latter depicting a person’s birth, race and stock; a complete depiction of who they are. The combination of the roots develop an insightful interpretation of the word’s intended meaning — something or someone that is natural or proper.
Accepting what is natural and proper in life can be incredibly oppressive, causing stress, denial, depression, and other emotions that spread like wildfire.
In the late 16th century, genuine was commonly used as a descriptive word regarding a particular Roman custom. Fathers would take part this custom to announce and declare the paternity of a newborn child; he did this by placing the child on his knee. The natural and proper role of a father is one that accepts he must deliver nurture and guidance to the child so his or her full potential in life can be reached.
Does your life reflect genuineness? Do your thoughts settle on both the visible and invisible realms of this life that influence society as a whole?
My thoughts are a never-ending stream of genuine beliefs, connections, associations, versatile ideas, objective language. Does this mean I am happy? Does it mean I’m satisfied with my life? No, and I never will be. We were placed here with a desire in our soul for something more meaningful. A desire for the One who is the very source of our existence. There are multiple pathways through which this source travels, and some of them are ugly, monstrous, and well for the lack of a better word, just downright bizarre and mesmerizing. It’s an unsightly and tear-jerking society that we live in, full of money-hungry people found in every field of work. Through a genuine reflection of intertwined thoughts, though, alternative and effective solutions can be developed.
Spending time around genuine people will prove to be of the utmost value to your journey here on earth. They will reveal traits showing their acknowledgement of life for what it is, both the good and bad. They are eager to let others know they have accepted their responsibility to nurture life to their best ability. A desire to make the world a better place will be at the core of the conversations you share with them.
Please understand that being genuine doesn’t mean I follow a path of perfection. The trials and tribulations endured by society that I see and learn about are mentally exhausting on so many levels. I, too, just like everyone in this world have felt the soul-crushing agony accompanied with loneliness. It tears deep and sharp into my thoughts, and has often tried fooling me into thinking that no hope exist. And although there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, society has failed to inform me and many others that the light is not always visible. Sometimes you have to crawl and fight and scratch and scream and dig deep into yourself to find the light.
It’s not that I lack the motivation or desire to create a life far different than the one I’m living. My mental capability at this very moment in time is sharper than it has been in several years. Higher thoughts. Higher thinking. Higher elevations and altitudes. When you view the world from atop the trees, there is no denying that our lives are obscurely complex and intricate than most people will ever comprehend.
I choose to spend my time researching, analyzing, and creating content that connects the past with the present so that the future of our children may be brighter than the one we have today. My mental processes creating my genuine thoughts weave together a tapestry of beauty, but this masterpiece will not be finished until my soul swiftly enters the golden gates of heaven. And it’s not created using only my genuine thoughts. An interconnected web of genuine thoughts coming from others like myself integrate themselves through shared networks.
Today was a day that I intertwined my desire to explore elevated levels of creativity with others like myself. Through soulful connections, a group of friends enjoyed a lasting amalgamation of higher thoughts, memories, and laughter. Each of us focused on raising each other up. Negativity was replaced with hope and conceptions developed objectives to be used for making the world better, both for those who share genuineness and those who do not. The blood in our veins raced throughout our bodies, pulsating our hearts and soul with a desire to leave a legacy that will surely change this world.
