Why “Sully” made me proud to be a flight attendant
Heather Poole

I am a nervous flier and any incident concerning an aircraft always gets me worried. At least, once a month, I get a dream in which the plane I am in crashes. Somehow, I always survive in these dreams.

One thing I do on a plane when it is bumpy is keep an eye on the flight attendants. If they seem relaxed, I get relaxed. Helps me a lot.

You should absolutely be proud. You and your colleagues take care of hundreds of people at any time and in case of emergency, you are likely to be the only hope that the passengers have of a good outcome. Thank you.
