When It Comes to Growing Magic Mushrooms, How Long Does It Take?

To grow a magic mushroom, follow these 4 steps:

1. Unboxing and setup

· In order to store it for later, remove the grow kit cover.

· Overflowing with water (+/- 20o C), fill the grow kit to the very edge.

· Put the lid on the grow kit and let it soak for roughly 12 hours. (Six or fewer, but no more than eighteen.

· If submerged for too long, the mycelium may drown.)

· After soaking, take off the cover and slowly pour the excess water off.

· Place the plastic bag into the grow kit.

· Fold the top of the plastic bag to seal it.

· Using the included paperclips, fasten the top.

· Check to see if your plastic bag is still standing upright. Place the grow kit in a location with adequate light, but not too much.

2. Pinheads

· The first pinheads will usually be visible in 1 to 3 weeks. Be patient though; it may take some time before pinheads appear. They can be recognized as being many very small white-brownish bumps that will increase in size by the hour.

· The right moisture amount here is when you see small dew drops. No drops is too dry, big dripping drops is too wet.

3. Shrooms Maturing

· Nowadays, most pinheads are larger than 2 cm. They’ve grown into young mushrooms now.

· Keep the bag slightly open at this phase to allow the liquid within to slowly evaporation. Paperclips can be taken out.

4. Harvest

· Just before the caps open is the finest time to gather ripe mushrooms. While maturing, they resemble a globe or planet. The circular crowns take on the appearance of a Mexican sombrero when the skin beneath them begins to unravel.

· Start harvesting if the spores beneath the caps are still closed but on the verge of bursting.

· Gently move the mushroom to the right and then to the left while grabbing the stem. In this manner, the mushroom can be completely removed. Pulling carefully prevents damage to your grow kit, which might be somewhat injured by rough pulling.

Consumption

On an empty stomach, make sure to properly chew the mushrooms. In this way, all of the active substances will be absorbed by your body. Starting out, beginners should consume 10 grams of fresh mushrooms. More experienced trippers should start with 20 grams of fresh mushrooms.
