CLSM Launch

One of our newest brands to hit W&W is CLSM ( COL-I-SE-UM ).

Influenced by American sports, the inspiration is obvious when looking at the aesthetic of CLSM. The logo which was designed by the talented sign painter Ash Willerton, pays homage to sporting flags that can be seen everywhere throughout American sports.

With a mixture of logo and graphic tees featuring imagery that gives a nod to basketball, baseball and American football, designed by the artist Oh Noes. CLSM hasn’t just released graphic tees there are also coach jackets which will keep you warm and dry in our very unpredictable British summer!! — and sports caps featuring an embroidered CLSM logo. This brand is not just for sports fans its to show the “rise of the underdog”.

CLSM had its official launch (29.07.16) at Newcastle’s Basketball Megastore, who’s owners Chris Green and Emma McMillan make up two thirds of the mastermind team that brought CLSM to life. The final third is Alan Wardle, who also has his own brand of graphic tees ‘AnyForty’ — also available at W&W. The Basketball Megastore was packed full, beers were flowing, with DJ ‘Flint and Steel’ on the decks making sure we had the perfect soundtrack to the evening.

Creatives, sports lovers and everyone else in between seemed to be flooding in from the street. There was a definite buzz around the products, many people who arrived without a CLSM tee definitely left with one.
