Jamout: Would you say death core is still an underrated genre?
Built to Surive: Yes because there’s a lot of things in deathcore that people tend to miss on the technicality of the music and the actual emotion of deathcore, people think it’s just nonsense screaming without meaning.
Jamout: Who are some artists that have influenced you?
BTS: Chelsea Grin, So This is Suffering, Thy Art is Murder, The Black Dahlia Murder, Gojira, Behemoth and Depths of Hatred.
Jamout: Where do you hope to be in your career a few years from now?
BTS: Touring, having a fan base, and our own merch and hopefully be at the spot that we all want to be in this career.
Jamout: If you could build your own lineup who would you tour with
BTS: So This is Suffering, The Prevalent Reaping, Depths of Hatred, Chelsea Grin, Behemoth.
Jamout: What is some advice you’d give to to someone starting a band?
BTS: No matter how many people tell you that you can’t do it, use that as ammunition to achieve your goals and never give up.
