Don’t kid yourself, you love BuzzFeed lists. Who doesn’t? And what could be better than a list of the greatest BuzzFeed lists of all time?! Several factors went into deciding what made the cut so sit back, relax, and enjoy the #GOAT of the creepy, hilarious, and uncomfortable.

10. — 25 Ways To Tell You’re A Kid Of The ‘90s

Ok, so, I’m a ’90s kid and that’s partially why this list made the cut. Not that I’m apologizing, it’s as relevant now as it was five years ago when it was written. Millions of views, nostalgic value, and forever shareable. Enjoy this gem from your childhood.

9. — 50 Unexplainable Black & White Photos

Babies smoking, panda bear goalies, skeleton suitors, and other very questionable material. There may not be much to read, but who’s looking for a novel anyway? Just enjoy the weirdness because, seriously, wtf?

8. — 25 Signs You Drink Too Much Wine

Alex Altman / Via buzzfeed.com

As if you could ever have “too much” wine. Still, it’s a hilarious list that will make you take long, dark look at your life. From 2014, it’s one of the newest lists in our group of the #GOAT — but it’s managed in that relatively short period of time to continue racking up views/shares by the millions.

7. — 40 Of The Most Powerful Photographs Ever Taken

So I’m a sucker for photo lists and there are some great “best of” for specific years, however, this one is a good mix of old and new. Definitely more emotional, sitting around 4M views with many more hits/shares, it’s a good reminder of where we’ve come from and where we’re (hopefully) going.

6. — 12 Extremely Disappointing Facts About Popular Music

Maybe you’ll learn a thing or two. Or maybe we’ll learn not to repeat our mistakes of the past. It’s one of the more popular lists of all time and some of the information is just downright hard to believe.

5. — 15 Poop Horror Stories That Will Make You Feel Better About Yourself

Kayla Yandoli / Via buzzfeed.com

What is a #GOAT BuzzFeed list without poop? The author meant it when they used the word “horror” so read at your own risk. Although, with the amount of shares, hits, and views, it would seem a lot of people are interested in nightmarish bathroom tales.

4. — 32 Pictures You Need To See Before You Die

Do you, like me, find humor funny? Pigs, cats, Shaq, and Betty White. It’s all here. Enjoy dogs drinking at bars…

3. — The 21 Absolute Worst Things In The World

Dave Stopera / Via buzzfeed.com

One of the absolute greatest BuzzFeed posts in the history of ever. It might be my personal favorite. Although, #21 is a little harsh. For the rest of them, we’ve all been there and that’s what makes it universal and fantastic.

2. — 21 Pictures That Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity

Jack Shepherd / Via buzzfeed.com

This list is not for the faint of heart. What’s that? Your allergies? You’ve been chopping onions? No, you’re a grown man tearing up at the sight of some great human beings restoring your faith in humanity. Close to 9M views alone, but that’s not what’s important here, it’s just one of the most popular, classic, feel-goods from BuzzFeed.

1. — 50 People You Wish You Knew In Real Life

Dave Stopera / Via buzzfeed.com

Bernie?

Some of these pictures made me laugh so hard I cried real tears. There’s just no way to express how badly we’d like to meet ALL of these people. While it does have nearly 10M views, to me, it’s just a classic (2012) list with some fantastic photos every BuzzFeeder needs to see. Enjoy.

Well, that’s it. Many of these lists are years old but have remained in the public eye and continue to be recycled by newer generations of BuzzFeeders who rediscover and share them all over again. The #GOAT lists from BuzzFeed are about more than their views, shares, hits, etc. Plenty of other lists may have more in the way of numbers. But it’s about staying relevant, funny, thought-provoking, and enjoyable throughout the years.
