Adult woman should take responsibility for the clothes that they wear and the message that they are sending.

The sweater is form fitting, ends in the mid-riff and she’s wearing skinny jeans. She could be on a magazine cover with that look. Everything she’s wearing says “Look at me, men of the world!”, short of a bikini top/bottom. It’s not like she’s holding up a sign or something. “Bernie” is emblazoned right there on her chest where she knew everyone would look.

Modest is not nijhab — that’s putting women into garbage bags. It’s business apparel, it’s “Sunday best”, the kind of stuff woman wore say in the 1940’s. There’s all sorts of flattering, attractive clothing that doesn’t scream sex.

In other words, if women don’t want be objectified, we should not dress like objects. It’s selfish and unfair for us to make an attention grab using female sexuality and then call men stupid and boorish when they do exactly what we knew they were going to do.
