Steps to follow for setting up TP-Link Extender Setup:

Before inciting up the TP-Link extender setup process, it is important to get the data on the current router. It is also necessary to know the router and extender password to enter the network.

• Firstly user has to login into the router. Most of the time it is 192.168.1.1 or can be something more. If you don’t remember your IP address, you have to open the computer system tab and click on the wireless network and choose the “Properties” option. Scroll fluff now and you can find your IP address entered next to “IPv4”.

• Instantly access the wireless portion of the router’s GUI and note the features including router IP address, SSID, encryption method, and network password.

• Login to the router now.

The router doesn’t respond to the above IP address then you have to use a different IP address for this cause.

• Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select the Task Manager

• Choose File — New Task — Check the Run as Admin box

• View at the Default Gateway and this is your router IP address.

Setting up TP-Link Extender:

Start this method, the TP-Link extender needs to be connected to the extender with the computer with an Ethernet cable.

• Attach the extender with the power root.

• Now relate it with your PC with a cable.

• Open the browser on the computer and start https://www.wifiextenderhub.com/ If this address doesn’t work, then type http://192.168.0.254. TP-Link webpage will look and this is the first stage for extender setup.

• Choose Quick Setup and press “Next”

• Choose the province and hit “Next”

• Now the TP-Link extender will scan for the wireless networks possible. It probably takes few minutes depending on how many networks are free around the system.

• Choose the wireless network from the list and press “Next”

• Enroll the wireless password when required.

• If you want a single larger wireless network then select the “Copy from the main router”.

• Now hit on next.

• Mark again the network settings in the final window and select the “Finish” if all these things are correct.

The TP-Link extender will reboot and grant access to the internet. You can check it first with the Ethernet cable and then start it working beamed. An extender password is required when you connect other devices to the extender.
