Amaal Mallik is an Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his work in Bollywood films and has composed music for several hit films, including “Baaghi,” “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story,” and “Kabir Singh.” Amaal Mallik was born on June 16, 1991, in Mumbai, India. He comes from a family of musicians — his grandfather Sardar Malik was a music director, and his father Daboo Malik is a music composer.
Amaal Mallik started his career in music in 2014 with the movie “Jai Ho,” where he assisted his brother, composer and singer Armaan Malik. He got his big break in 2015 with the movie “Roy,” for which he composed the hit song “Sooraj Dooba Hai.”
