The Thailand Full Moon Party Dates 2019 {Everything You Need To Know!}

It’s a bit of an understatement to say that a trip to Thailand is dreadfully incomplete without experiencing the most infamous and outrageous beach party in the world.
Like night and day, the once in a lifetime event of the Full Moon Party completely transforms Haad Rin Beach into an uninhibited hedonistic playground for cultural strangers around the globe to join in on the infectious vibes as they play into the evolving chaos.
As the undisputed king of everything wild in Thailand, The Full Moon party is guaranteed to be a night you will never forget.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE THAILAND FULL MOON PARTY?

Thanks to its world-renowned infamous reputation as the largest and most insane beach party on the planet, Haad Rin Beach will attract anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 partygoers at a time for any given Full Moon Party event.
The days before the event are filled with raw anticipation as more and more tourists arrive to Koh Phangan island each day.
So, to help ease all of the excitement, the island dishes out a steady stream of featured events ranging from waterfall, pool and jungle parties, each wilder than the next.
By the time the big day finally approaches, the atmosphere on the island is nearly ready to explode.

You will notice locals setting up their bucket stands ready to cash in on the big night. Partygoers doing some last-minute shopping for face paint, flamboyantly vibrant outfits, along with enough alcohol to kill a building.
At the party itself you can expect everything from nudity, body painting, binge drinking, fire festivities (limbo and jump rope), extremely promiscuous behavior, an assortment of party favors and the occasional ambulance or two.
The Full Moon festivities literally run from 8pm until around 11am the next day so you better come correct if you’re going to be a “Full Moon Warrior” and make it through it entirely.

Major bonus points if you are somehow still awake and are freakishly able to attend the after party the following morning.

FULL MOON PARTY THAILAND DATES?

The full moon party festival occurs once every month on the dates listed below.
However, we recommend you arrive at least several days ahead of time to experience the lead up events of the various waterfall, pool and jungle parties.
The price of the featured parties is 100 TBH per ticket but in spite of that, there are also free parties on the beach each night as an alternative.
I personally prefer the music, atmosphere and price of the beach parties (free) but, if you’re into heavy techno and trans music then you might want to give the featured parties a go.
