I haven’t seen organic kale peer reviewed.

Kale, like all our crops, is a human creation. Kale derives from wild cabbage that growths in GB and is barely edible.
Whether it is apples, potatoes, corn, wheat, etc … they have all been modified by humans to be more nutritious and generate better yields. My favorite is wild potatoes which are poisonous, but the natives of Peru modified it to be edible.
