How is it that I’m physically tired at the end of the day, yet I’ve only moved four times for a total of 200 steps?

It’s becoming increasingly exhausting keeping up with the ridiculous headlines popping up on my phone screen. It’s not surprising that most people have turned them off and tuned them out. I probably should’ve done that years ago, I must be a glutton for punishment.

This seems to be a systemic problem — Donald Trump does something outrageous, every media outlet picks it up and comes up with the most inflammatory headline, clicks/advertising dollars/subscriptions ensue. In the process, another few thousand American citizens become jaded by our political system and give up on following the news. I don’t blame them.

I have a solution.

It’s time we had a really good kindergarten teacher sit down with both the media and the President, and give them a stern talking to.

In all seriousness, can both of you just knock it off?

President Trump, you’re dealing with a crisis to a degree of which we’ve never seen in the modern era; a global pandemic, an economy teetering on the edge of disaster, and a political system so divided that you could propose free puppies for terminally ill children and Democrats would still find a way to criticize it…
