UX Designers are expected to:

  • bring our collective knowledge and experience with UX Research and Design to bear in the creation of a unique, original MVP product that suited the primary goals of all UX projects
  • present user-validated application prototypes along with supporting documentation that would be considered valid, professionally prepared, and innovative others
  • create validated ideas; to synthesize key findings and recommendations from research.
  • “empathize with, and design for, the user — at all times and in every way possible”.

Questions important to a variety of UX Projects:

  • Is this screen UI and content organized, in a way that will delight and inspire the user? Will they have a chance at hanging around complete the intended User Flow?
  • What is the attention span and attention cycle of the user?
  • How am I working with their habits?
  • Am I able to guide / alter their default behaviors in any honest and positive ways?
  • Are there any distractions or other issues with the screen that would cause the user frustration?
  • Does the design suit the bell curve majority of users, such that it will help the maximum number of people that try it out?
  • Are we addressing the users needs with innovative UI and providing a helping hand?
  • Are we distracting them from their task in any way with feature bloat?
