If you substitute ‘poor citizens’ for ‘black people’ in this article, every single claim Mr. Metta makes is just as true. The crime rate, the violence against by police rate, and the incarceration rate among poor black youths is almost exactly the same for black youths, as the rate for poor white and poor Latino youths. The fact that black americans have been relentlessly trained to see race and racism as the cuplrit for every bad situation is racist. The lack of upward mobility in our society and the dramatic, far less than level playing field, created by the big government party, makes poverty and inequality endemic. Liberal policies and finger pointing do not help minorities but, it seems, their lip service earns roughly 90% of an historically monolithic black vote.
