The key difference here, apart from all the charges & other problems associated with TenX, is that you bear the exchange rate risk — whereas when you pay directly with cryptocurrencies the receiver bears the risk.
So, in effect, there is no point in paying this way, when you have to convert your cryptocurrency back into real world money using the app. Why go to all the trouble, and cost, of doing it this way?
