I think there is confusion of terms here. Capitalism isn’t the problem. Corporatism would be a more accurate and appropriate term. Corporations are set up to limit liability which has come to mean in its most malignant forms to avoid responsibility. There is nothing ethical about this form of enterprise whose driving principle is to maximize return on investment. Nothing is said about how, nothing demands that methods be legal. As long as a cost benefit analysis shows that maximization is possible then that is the path taken. As long as people are allowed to hide behind this legal fiction nothing will change.
