A Note to Myself

Don’t let disappointment settle into disbelief.

When your cloudy dreams fall to earth, you can’t avoid experiencing that pain, that sense of loss. It comes to you without your asking.

Time passes and you are still disappointed. You have a choice now: Will you accept that one circumstance didn’t work out, and move on with your life, or will you allow it to convince you that those things never work out?

We all wear colored glasses. We all see the world differently. But every day we choose what gets to inform our view of the world, and what doesn’t.

Don’t let your failures convince you that you will always fail.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
