As I recall part of NATO’s deal with Ukraine to get them to turn over their nuclear weapons was to guarantee Ukraine’s border.I understand our reluctance directly confront Russia due to the fact that we both hold nuclear weapons.But if we expect anyone in the future to trust our agreements the very least we can do is provide some weapons.We already arm countries like Egypt and Pakistan.
