Swim Your Own Race

“Swim your own races. Do not let others do your thinking for you.” — Jim Rogers

Shanghai is fifteen hours ahead of San Francisco, but it doesn’t make San Francisco slow.

Someone started a company at the age of eighteen, became a millionaire and never went to college. While another graduated at twenty-two, but waited five years before securing a good job!

Someone became an Ironman World Champion at thirty-five, and died at sixty. While another became an Ironman World Champion at seventy, and lived to ninety.

Someone retired at fifty-five and never worked again. While another started a second career at seventy and never stopped working.

Someone is still single. While someone is divorced and have two kids.

Everyone’s life is tailored around their own pace.

People might seem to go ahead of you, and some might seem to be behind you.

But everyone is running their own RACE!

So, don’t be envious and stay humble.

Life is about waiting for the right moment to act.

Slow down!

You’re not LATE!

You’re not EARLY!

You’re on TIME!

Just swim your own RACE!
