Exaggeration doesn’t help make your point. Obama put new restrictions on Bush’s domestic spying policies and asked Congress to impose stronger, lasting limits. It’s unusual for a President to ask Congress to limit executive power but I’m sure Congress’ failure to act is somehow Obama’s fault too.
On multiple occasions both Hillary and the Pentagon advised Obama to use more aggressive military action and he rejected their advice. If McCain or Hillary had been elected in ’08 we’d be bombing far more people and have American troops on the ground in more countries. Obama also backed off on Syria after CNN already made their war graphic and theme music. That doesn’t make Obama’s foreign policy ideal but there’s a real, meaningful difference that can be measured in thousands of lives and billions of dollars he cut in defense spending.
