This is exactly why I don’t care for design awards. They tend to skew towards how things look, without really looking or proving actual desired results or metrics. We can’t get better if we can’t measure. I would love to make a site like Dribble that focuses on the entire process an not just the visual.

Case in point. David Bowie dies and seems like everyone does a pic of David Bowie with the lightning bolt on his face. David Bowie has so many different looks over the years, yet everyone did the same. Why? Could it be they’re just copying each other on Dribble?
