Make 2018 a year of momentum by taking committed action each and every week.

The world is changing, and we need to change with it.

Our attention is at war. We’re dealing with and processing more information than ever before. This can distract or even paralyze us from achieving our dreams.

If we’re not careful, we end up going through the motions and living the life others want for us.

I want to reach for my dreams. And I want you to reach for your dreams, too.

Read on to learn more about a 52-week challenge. I gave it a name — Rewire: Life on Purpose in 52-weeks. It’s free to join here, or read below to learn more.

The Problem

Humans are the most flexible and adaptable species on the planet. Or, at least they can be.

We’re the only ones with an unquenchable desire to know more and want more. We search for answers to complex questions like, “What’s the meaning of life?” and “What am I here for?”

I’ll bet your dog Max isn’t sitting around asking these questions. He is happy as can be eating, sleeping, and playing fetch every once in a while.

Today there are more resources for knowing than there are for growing. In an effort to know more, we end up reading another article, another book, or listening to another podcast. Searching for answers, or something to make us feel ready. But it doesn’t end.

To add to the overwhelm, a lot of what we read can be full of contradictions. This leaves us wondering what’s right and where to start.

To be clear, there’s nothing wrong with learning. In fact, it’s an imperative to growth. But if we don’t stop to put what we know into action, the growth won’t occur at all.

So here in lies the problem. We become hard wired through our routines and habits as well as the walls we put up around the things that make us feel uncomfortable. This affects the way we think and the things we desire. It limits our beliefs, our imagination, and our identity.

The Challenge

Conventional wisdom, and consensus in the scientific community, told us that our brain develops in childhood then remains unchanged in adulthood.

New science in neuroplasticity shows just how malleable and fluid our biology really is.

Now we know the truth. We can continue to grow and experience change. We can teach old dogs new tricks.

How do we do it? The best way is through new experiences.

That’s what this invitation and challenge is all about. A full year of experiences. I’ve done the research, I’ve read all the books, and I’ve found or created the challenges.

I won’t pretend to have all the answers or that I’ve figured it all out. This challenge is for me as much as it’s for you.

We will explore a new theme each month. Themes rooted in ancient philosophy and modern science. Challenges each week will align to that theme — Intention, Confidence, Wellness, Focus, etc.

The challenges will be simple. Designed to be completed in 5–15 minutes. Some may take less time, and along the way I may offer opportunities to engage more deeply in others. None of these are mandatory, but all will bring change and growth. Some challenges may become habits of life change.

The degree of difficulty for each challenge will be unique to each person. Just know this: The harder it feels, the more you need it and will benefit from it.

The Action

Join the challenge. Join the community. Engage in change.

Let’s become better people, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, bosses, and leaders.

By saying yes, you will receive a brief email from me each week with your challenge. Each challenge will be accompanied by a brief synopsis of the science or philosophy behind it. You do the challenge, and if you’re up to it, share your experience with the group, a friend, or (gasp!) a stranger.

Let’s GO!!

Ready?

A full year of new experiences. Every month has a theme. Every week during any given month has a challenge that corresponds with the theme. Remember, it’s only 15 minutes a week.
