Oscar my Canine Companion

Your wiley and so willing to please
Your cuteness brings me down to my knees
You keep me fit and on my toes
Your barking is loud, as the whole street knows
You protect me to a fault
You make my mind exhalt

So warm and tender
Long legged and slender
So growly and full of cheek
Sometimes shy and acting meek

Your have a voice you use it well
There's a parcel at the door you often yell
Out of the blanket you fumble
Up to the door, "you woke me" you grumble
Dragging the blanket across the floor
Clad like a Tiger, yet you roar !!!

I wouldn't change you for the world
While sat on my lap all unfurl
Taking up more room than your size
Exceptionally cute, so easy on my eyes
Your like winning the lottery a massive prize
Doting beautiful brown eyes
Walks in a way that causes surprise
Broken coat
On you I dote
