Labour is a democratic party. What you’re suggesting is essentially and ironically a stalinist power grab and undemocratic. What you’re championing is to have a small powerful elite to exclusively control the labour party, in direct conflict with the members/activists who make up the core of the party. The longer this knife sharpening exists within right wing thinkers, the stronger the left will be and the further the grander political sphere moves leftwards. In the beginning I used to get worked up about right wingers spitting on Corbyn, but if the leadership ellection tought us anything, it was that the more they foam at the mouth, the more Joe Public is reminded of all the things they’ve hated about the political status quo and the more they’re willing to take a chance on someone like Corbyn.
