Thanks for contributing! This curve is pretty interesting. In particular it’s an odd function while the sigmoid is even. It can also invert the concavity of the ends at |n| < 1. The sigmoid ease has a discontinuity at 0. I wonder if one is more usable (in a user experience sense) than the other or if they’re roughly equal.
