Bob The Tomato
You probably remember Bob “The Tomato” Marinara as the “straight man” that hosted the hit kid’s show Veggie Tales. Unfortunately, Bob lost these straight-edged qualities when the show’s producers said they needed some fresher (i.e. “green”) talent to take over. His ageism suit floundered when the court found that, legally, tomatoes are only good for about 5–7 days.
As a devout non-denominational tomato, Bob was devasted to learn that he’d been “bad” for years and, even worse, was actually a fruit. Beaten down and bruised, Bob retreated to the back of the fridge to live out the rest of his days in obscurity with the forgotten mason jars of a failed Kimchi experiment and all the hot sauce packets that may or may not need to be refrigerated.
Luckily, things are finally starting to come around for Bob who was recently cast as the crusty ketchup bottle in the latest Clint Eastwood film…
