Value is Subjective
Since value is subjective, the most ridiculous goods you would never pay for are how some people make their living.
And not just a living, but a GREAT living.
This can be amazing because you can sell all sorts of incredible products and services to people without caring what the world thinks. All that matters is convincing your customer it’s worth it… and then over-delivering on their expectations.
The problem is that it also leads to a sketchy area of business where people start scamming and tricking people into buying insubstantial garbage.
But fear not, this strategy is short-sighted.
You might make a couple million from it. But never billions.
As Abe Lincoln said,
