I will give one simple example. Stating the term “JavaScript” in a search engine for jobs at one single moment in time does not equate to any real conclusions. The needs at the specific time of research could be fulfilled. Also, it does not provide any numbers on the amount of people employed. In fact, the term itself might not be relevant. The industry could refer to it only as “Node.js developer”.
