Fall Wine Shopping Trends

As soon as I hear the Pumpkin Latte is back at Starbucks, I know fall is coming.

Fall seasonal menu trends call for shaking up your wine sipping choices as well.

Retailers and restaurants love this time. Think of all the holidays coming up for special occasion bottles from Halloween, to Thanksgiving, and what about mini holidays like the start of FOOTBALL and tailgating season?!

Once the weather starts to change, consumers look to build their own “wine bar” experience at home.

There’s a few Fall Essentials to nail this:

1- Bubbly

Game winning TD, kicking off ladies night or celebrating a birthday, always have a bottle of bubbly in the house.

Think outside the Champagne box and try Prosecco, Cava or how about a Sparkling Torrontes from Argentina?

2- Storage

If you’re going to have some killer bottles at home, then store them right so you’re not ruining the juice.

Keep away from the kitchen, varying temperatures, if you don’t have a cellar, and think dark and cool spaces.

3- Conversation Wine

Have you traveled to a vineyard recently or met a favorite winemaker at a tasting in your city? Get that bottle.

It’s an instant conversation starter. Besides being a wine that you love, it’s got a great story to go with it, and that makes it even better.
