Scoop: I’ve always enjoyed when winemakers choose to add a little Viognier to their Syrahs, or in this case, Shiraz. It gives the wine nice nose and adds just a little something extra to the finish. Arabella’s Shiraz Viognier does not disappoint and for only $9.99, it’s a really nice wine. I wish they disclosed what percentage of Viognier they used because I’d also encourage them to do a percentage or two more because it really can do fun things for Syrah.

This wine has great color, it’s’ smooth, and very drinkable, even for non-red-wine lovers. It’s light but not so light you heavy red lovers wouldn’t enjoy it. I wish I bought more of it and when it’s back in stock. I surely will. Get it at www.nakedwines.com.
