These challenges are usually done for fun or as a way to practice and improve design skills. In my experience, participating in this challenge has significantly improved my productivity by helping me sharpen my skills, increase my focus, and better manage my time.
One of the main benefits of the 12am UI challenge is that it forces me to work under time pressure. With only few hours to design a user interface, there is no time to waste. This pressure pushes me to focus on the most important tasks and avoid distractions, which ultimately leads to better productivity.
