Joel, thanks for sharing this insight. It’s a simple yet amazing advantage you can give yourself. I really like the analogy of a personal trainer because it encompasses the essence of what an accountability partner does.

A good accountability partner or ‘personal trainer’ is someone who you can trust, confides in, and keeps you on track. One important aspect that doubles the effectiveness is when the ‘personal trainer’ has either the same experience and knowledge in your goals. For example, if you want to start a business, it’s more effective to have someone who has started businesses successfully than someone who has no interest in entrepreneurship.

That poses a conundrum for some people. Not everyone knows of someone like that in their circle of friends/network.

So how can more people benefit from this great advantage you just shared?

I believe the answer is in Accountability Coaching.

I’ve been an accountability coach for a year now. I’m not a Life Coach, I don’t have any form of coaching certifications on my wall, I don’t charge $1000 for a one-hour chat.
