I love this insight on how we all have this “shared language” no matter if we are blind from birth or come from different places — we all feel emotions and communicate them with facial expressions.

As a teacher I really love telling this to young kids. Showing them that they have a perspective, they have these expressions, they have these opinions (that are often subconscouis at first) and to try to empower them to discover these parts of themselves and bring it out in their work.
