There's a certain learning curve to prompting ChatGPT effectively... I think people tend to draw conclusions about its abilities way, way too fast. Without priming it for the task at hand, you will get generic responses, that is true - but then again you're not really bothering to utilize the model. Learn the ropes first, it's worth it!
