Living With a Man who has Aspergers

Hi Janey, let me be the first then 😊. This is a very moving, honest and personal essay that struck a chord with me. For the past few years I have suspected someone I’m close to may have a form of Aspergers. He lives a normal family life with two happy, healthy children, holds down a decent office job, enjoys photography, computing etc. Yet to say his mind works different from others is clear to me on every interaction with him.

I don’t feel it’s my place to openly discuss someone without their consent, so I won’t go into detail here. I will let him read this and who knows maybe if it resonates with him, he may seek answers.

Thank you and your husband for putting this out there. Respect!
