How to publish your first tutoring eBook
Before we get into how to create an eBook, let’s talk about the why.
Why would anyone, especially a busy tutor, want to go through the time and effort of publishing his or her own book?
At Coach, we’ve met a number of tutors who have self-published books and there’s one common motivation, one why we have seen consistently lead to success and happiness in self-publishing: having passion for your subject.
Because you have something you cannot help but teach, something you must teach, and writing a book is an efficient way of teaching a wide audience.
Now, in order to stay motivated to finish a book, you of course have to be passionate about the material, but what also helps is having a concrete use for it in your own teaching life.
This way, your newly-written book will start paying dividends in your life, as soon as it’s finished.
Eventually, you may be able to generate passive income from selling your eBook through Amazon, but we wouldn’t recommend that as a sole reason for putting in the time writing (since it’ll take a bit of time to materialize).
