Hi Daniel,

I have had similar experiences with psychiatrists. I think drugs can provide immediate relief, which some people might need if they are so desperate, but drugs do not ultimately get to what might be the source of your pain.

For me, a therapist helped to explore and address those issues. The drugs I received from a psychiatrist helped to shrink the pain to a point where I could manage and live my life, but the talk therapy I went through with a therapist is what really helped me.
