CPChain partners with Zhichao Medical Technology Company to use medical data with IoT and blockchain.
On Monday, April 23, 2018, CPChain partnered with Zhichao Medical Technology Company. Sounds cool you think. Let’s dive deeper in what this really means.
Xiaoyi is pretty smart. It has been tweaked and tested, then tweaked and tested some more, and is now able to memorize and understand the contents of one million medical images, 53 medical books, two million medical records, and 400,000 pieces of medical literature and medical reports. It took Xiaoyi 18 months to learn this. For a medical student, this takes more than 5 years.
It‘s also the first robot ever to pass the medical test which requires a medical student to score 360 on the test. Xiaoyi scored 456 points.
The robots are being made by the AI-company iFlytek and has seen a commercial launch in March 2018. It is being used for medical education and training, but will also assist doctors in clinical diagnosis and treatment to improve diagnosis accuracy and shorten treatment time.
If that’s not enough, the robots are able to scan and diagnose 100 medical records in just 4.8 seconds so it takes them only 0.05 seconds to review each medical case. The company claims its AI robot has improved diagnosis accurate rates by 20% compared with traditional methods.
What’s CPChain’s role in this?
In short, directly from their Twitter announcement: “It will promote and improve the development of blockchain in general, medical big data and AI.”
A little bit detailed: medical AI will need huge data on people’s daily health records, which can be gathered from IoT stuff, for example, a portable blood glucose meter. Most importantly, it can gather the info from the platform CPChain provides.
CPChain is working on building an integrated platform for various sorts of IoT data to run more smoothly and efficiently.
