Review: Wild Awakening was an excellent book. I could feel the excitement in Greg’s desire for this one in a lifetime hunting trip. His resilience and faith the helped keep him alive after the attack and all the medical procedures for al the times was a true testament to his faith. I too hunted in Alaska for several years while stationed there and count myself lucky several times hunting in areas where the game is on their turf. Greg’s reckoning with his issues growing up and dealing with the family and his father’s situation takes time and through his faith provided the faith and strength to make it through the countless medical and life procedures. Thanks Greg and My God Bless you and family forever.

While his experiences are extreme, I think many of us can relate to the internal struggle he describes. I loved the fact that the audio book was read by the author himself. The book is really well written with details that make you feel like you are there. Highly recommended!

Review: This is one book I had a hard time putting down. This is a true story written from a hurting man who became healed through an attack from a grizzly bear. By the time I read chapter 21 I had to stop to allow myself time to cry, catch my breath, and ponder on how God has been there for me; how He protected me from harm when I felt He didn’t care what happened to me. It’s a book that will open your eyes to God’s love and perfect healing in your life. This book is a MUST READ.
