The Wizard characters within the Wizarre world are the essence of our entire game and platform. After all, you need them to play and engage in activities that are not only fun but also earn you rewards in the process.

We’ve already given our community an introduction to some of the features and characteristics these Wizards have, in addition to how they’re used within the game.

Today, we’re taking things a step further and diving deeper into the different personalities, elements, and statistics we are building and deploying to add more color and depth to our already vibrant ecosystem for a better player experience.

Learn everything about this and more below!

Personality Types

Across all Wizard characters, 6 different personalities exist. The breakdown of these different types is below:

  • Angry
  • Excited
  • Grumpy
  • Happy
  • Noble
  • Wicked

Each personality contains different facial expressions that are unique to each Wizards’ gender and 1 out of 4 hand gestures — in total there are 48 of them!

Additionally, eyebrow gestures are a part of their personality traits — the only exception is a female character’s excited eyes, which are inherently unique and alter when the personality changes. These personalities and hand gestures add an extra element of rarity and uniqueness to each character, giving you more options to select from and explore.

The personalities of all characters can be changed with a Personality Elixir, which can be acquired within the game or staking events (like the one that's going on now.)

After a Wizard is summoned, it inherits a variety of different characteristics from its parent Wizards that were initially used during the Ritual of Summoning. This results in whole genealogical trees (i.e. noses, eyes, beards, hair, robes, hats, staff, emblems, etc.) including personalities. Elements, Spells & Buffs

Wizard elements and statistics allow you to determine your character’s capabilities within the game. All of these, depending on certain applied conditions, can be slightly modified — for example, body parts (i.e. a male nose and beard or female mouth or hair) may have an impact on a Wizards’ statistics.

Each Wizard has an element that’s determined by a combination of multiple parts, which also include colors (Red = Fire, Blue = Water, Green = Nature). These parts include:

  • 12 hats: Determines their basic offensive spell. Each hat comes in 1 of 3 colors, which changes the spell and results in dealing (i.e. fire damage for red hats)
  • 11 robes: Determines their defensive spell. Each robe comes in 1 of 3 color. For example, one defensive spell can create walls (which are magical structures unique to 1 of 3 elements) and another spell reflects (which is identical for all elements)
  • 30 staffs: Determines the ultimate spell unique to each piece. There are 10 staff per element, and each enables a completely different ultimate spell
  • 27 emblems: Determines the global buff for the entire team, which has a form of an emblem on a hat. There are 9 unique buffs per element (9 water, 9 nature, and 9 fire), which results in different buffs for your entire Wizard team. Having the same buff multiple times will stack its effect. A team can benefit only from the buffs of the Wizards participating in the battle

Each distinctive piece carries its own value determining Wizards’ element, as such:

  • Hat and robe: 2
  • Emblem: 1
  • Staff: 3

To illustrate this example, imagine a Wizard has a combination of a blue robe and hat, in addition to a red emblem and staff. With these different pieces, this character will have 4 water and 4 fire, meaning that it’s a hybrid Wizard with these two distinct elements.

Let’s say, for example, that this Wizard instead had 5 water and 3 fire. In this case, it would be a Water Wizard due to the fact that the water element is larger than the fire.

On top of all this, elements have a rock-paper-scissor nature. If an element spell causes damage that your Wizard has resistance to, it will reduce this resistance by a certain percentage (or, on the contrary, increase it by a certain percentage if your character is vulnerable).

For example, let’s assume a Fire Wizard inflicts damage with water spells to a Nature Wizard. In this event, there’s a specific percentage gain from the inner element and a loss in resistance to the spell element.

As a note, the inner element has a greater impact than the spell element. Here’s a quick look at how these elements work over one another:

Fire > Nature > Water > Fire

Statistics

Wizards come with 6 different statistics, which are:

  • Health: The amount of health points
  • Power: Bonus damage that is inflicted with spells — note that this won’t decrease the damage dealt
  • Will: Represents the character’s initiative. Whoever moves first in which order, the round will be initiated by the team containing a larger summed initiative
  • Mana: This is the number of magic points that can be used for casting spells
  • Luck: The percentage chance of a critical strike that deals double damage
  • Spirit: Represents mana regeneration per turn

Here’s an example of an algorithm for the order of Will and turn. Imagine Player 1 has the following: A = 2, B = 3, C = 4. Player 2 has: D = 3, E = 6, F = 1. Player 2 begins with 10 Will, and Player 1 is second with 9 Will. Therefore, they will battle in the following order: E, C, D, B, F, A. The order of turns is maintained even if one of the teams loses a Wizard.

The different parts of the Wizards they are made of will influence the 6 available statistics.
