Wizarre’s Elixirs — All you need to know
In the Wizarre ecosystem, everything is connected, so it’s great news that another NFT feature has finally been released! From the 7th of February, all Elixirs will be fully functional and users will be able to use them to modify their NFT Wizards.
In this article, we’ll go through the process of using the Elixirs, and we’ll also present all the assets and their purpose. As a reminder, you can obtain them by staking on the Staking Map or by purchasing them from other users on the Marketplace.
The process is very simple. Start on the page of the Wizard you wish to transform. At the top are the buttons you’re already familiar with: “Transfer” and “Create Offer”, above those you will now find “Drink Elixir”, press this button and proceed to the pop-up. Here you’ll first need to select which elixir you’d like to use. Remember that you can only use 1 elixir at a time. Next, you’ll need to enable both the Elixir and the Wizard contracts by clicking on the appropriate buttons and following the procedure in your web3 wallet.
At the bottom of the pop-up you’ll see what effect the Elixir will have on the Wizard, so you’ll know what’s changing. To remind you of the Elixirs currently available in the Wizard’s ecosystem, we’ve created this graphic.
Remember that some parts of the Wizard are related to their statistics and strategies available in battle. Once everything is set, simply press the ‘Drink Elixir’ button below the wizard and complete the process in your web3 wallet. During the process, both the Enhancement (Elixir) and your NFT Wizard will be burned. You will receive a new wizard with a new ID, but all non-elixir statistics will remain the same.
How we solved the genetics and relationships issues:
- Transformed Wizard’s parents will have a new child in their statistics.
- Children of burned Wizard will still be related to the burned Wizard, not the new one.
- Soul count remains the same, it doesn’t regenerate.
- The Wizard’s origin remains unchanged.
This is an exciting new feature and we’re super excited about it, but remember that this process will have a big impact on the genetics aspect, as you’ll be introducing a new genome to the family, and as great as this is for weaker Wizards, it can also damage your desired perfect family tree.
