Is Jack Perry Really Gone from AEW?

For those that don’t know, Jack Perry (FKA Jungle Boy), was involved in a backstage fight with CM Punk their last day at AEW at the All In Pay Per View. This stemmed from Punk telling Perry that a spot he wanted to use involving real glass was too risky and unnecessary. Perry instead decided to use the spot at All In, boasting that it was real glass and saying “Cry me a river” directed at Punk. Maybe AEW thought this would start an angle, but more likely because AEW doesn’t usually script everything and allows their wrestlers at least some creative control Perry really went into business for himself and it backfired. Rather than starting a feud between the two, it started a fight backstage and led to CM Punk’s firing and Perry’s suspension. We haven’t been told if Perry was later fired or if his contract just expired, but it is currently to be believed he is no longer with AEW.
