Get the word out: The art of article distribution

“Making money from blogging requires you to do only two things: drive a lot traffic, then maximize the income from that traffic.” — John Chow

I believe that if you’re able to cross a 200 claps within a day, there’s a great chance your article will start trending and be pushed out to users by the platform’s content recommendation article.

If this happens your page views could skyrocket. So, how can we help it get there?

Here are some good ways to jump start this. Feel free to add your suggestions at the end.

1. Ping it — Pingler is a free to that just helps search engines find your content easier.
2. Email your lists (if you have one) — I don’t really have one but will get getting after it soon. Everyone else is, why should I leave myself out from the party?!
3. Social media — Go put it on you personal facebook if you want but I like adding into strategic groups that will find it relevant. In addition some pretty good ones are, use:

• Tumblr
• StumbleUpon
• Digg
• Pinterest

4. Syndication Tools — There are some free one and paid ones you can find out there on the inter webs but 2 free ones that i’ll be trying for the next week or so are:

• Scoop.it
• Inbound.org
