Interesting, but I don’t particularly agree. It is a perfectly valid choice to be on the losing side of a democratic election and to continue to maintain your point of view. Apply this logic to a General Election scenario: are you saying that those on the losing side at such an event should also take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror?

Democracies function by empowering a constituency that advocates a course of action and that succeeds in assembling a majority of voters behind it at the right moment. Such an event happened on Thursday. It is now for that constituency to get on with organising itself and implementing its preferred new course of action. It does not follow that other voters have a duty to join it.
