i think device location/tracking would be big but no one understands it.

and it doesn’t QUITE do what you would hope.

you can’t just stick it in your car or on your dog, and track it 24/7.

what it can actually do is, send a location report if it gets close (within 30 feet) to a (random) bluetooth low energy receiver (phone usually) that is enabled to listen for the ‘proximity advertisements’, and send them to the internet (somewhere, but where?).
