Great observation piece on human nature writ large. Technology didn’t do the dirty deed though, the humans that designed/adapted the tech have also been hijacked following the same paradigms in creating these hijacks. going to who or what they know, taking the least line of effort to get it done and rewarding people for doing it their way. However I think the latter heuristic is at best only a superficial reward not much depth, not much meaning either.
